Securing my services

A booking fee of £50.00 is required to secure your wedding date (but this will cover the cost of your bride trial).

For all occasion or evening make up bookings, a fee of £10.00 is required.  

All booking fees are non-refundable.


Payments can be made by bank transfer or cash.  Unfortunately I am not able to accept cheques or card payments.  The final balance for wedding bookings is due at least two weeks before the day unless cash payment on the day has been agreed.  For non wedding bookings, payment can be made on the day of the service.

Client Responsibility

All clients must inform me of any issues that may affect the use of my products or equipment.  This includes, but is not limited to: sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions.  I reserve the right to refuse any make up application if I have any concerns.

Wedding Trials

All wedding trials are carried out at my home.  If you are likely to find it difficult to attend my home for your trial, please contact me to discuss further.  (Additional travel fees may apply if the trial is carried out elsewhere).  As the bride, your trial will be paid for once your booking fee has been received.  (Any other members of the bridal party requiring a trial can pay on the day of trial). Regrettably, I am unable to carry out trials on Sundays or Bank Holidays.  During wedding season, Saturday trial dates are unlikely to be available but I will endeavor to work with you to arrange a suitably convenient appointment.  It is important that all clients are happy at the conclusion of the trial, however if you or one of your party decide after the trial that you are not satisfied or wish to make changes to the make up look, please contact me ASAP.


If for any reason you choose or need to cancel your booking within 12 weeks of your wedding date, your deposit will be retained but you will not be liable for any further payments.  

Cancellations made between 12 and 4 weeks prior to the wedding will require 50% of the outstanding balance.  

Cancellations made within 4 weeks will require 100% of the outstanding balance.  

All cancellations must be received in writing.  

Extenuating circumstances will be considered at my discretion.  

Should payment not be received in full when required, I retain the right to cancel my services but you will still be liable to settle any remaining balance.  

If I am unable to honour your booking due to a personal emergency, act of God, pandemic or severe illness, I will attempt to find an alternative make up artist of a similar standard to take my place.  They will receive a description of the look, photos and any products they may not have in their professional kit to enable them to recreate your chosen look.  In the unlikely event of a full cancellation by me, 100% of the costs already paid will be refunded.  Please be confident that I have 100% attendance rate and it is not in my nature to let any client down.

Client numbers

I will always try to accommodate adjustments to the bridal party numbers (time allowing), however you should be aware that if any of the bridal party drop out or you decrease the number of people for your booking less than 7 days prior to the wedding date, you will still be required to pay the full amount originally quoted.


I cover the first 20 miles from my home free of charge, after that a return journey is charged at 45 pence per mile and worked out on postal codes using a route planner.  Parking and toll expenses will be charged to the client.


Should any client or member of your party become abusive, threatening or offensive, I reserve the right to terminate my services immediately without any refund.

I am not liable for any suppliers that I work with or recommend.

I have public liability insurance and am insured by Salon Direct.

Additional Information

On the day, please ensure I have a suitable working environment with adequate natural lighting (near a window is ideal) and space to set my kit up.  If there are more than 3 of you I will bring a tall chair with me but otherwise please ensure there is a chair ready for use on the day.  Clients should be ready on time, make up free and if contact lenses are worn they should be applied prior to the make up application.  Make up application takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour depending on requirements.  Clients should be prepared to sit quietly during the application process; it is helpful if clients do not use their phone, keep turning round or getting up from the chair etc.  If there are likely to be young children around on the day, please can you ensure they do not tamper with my brushes, kit or products.  Smoking is not permitted during the make up application.  I reserve the right to make a claim to cover costs for any damage to my brushes, kit or products which may have been caused by you or your party.

Photography and Images

I am sure you can appreciate the importance of maintaining and updating my portfolio, both on my website and social media platforms.  Please let me know if you do not wish to be photographed.  Additionally, I am happy to be photographed on your wedding day but politely ask that any images of me in action or clearly showing my finished work makes reference or credits me as the make up artist.
