A booking fee of £30.00 is required to secure your wedding date. This is deducted from your final wedding day balance and can be make by bank transfer only.

Your wedding date is not secure until the booking fee has been received.

For lessons or occasion makeup bookings, a £15.00 booking fee is required.

All booking fees are non-refundable.

Payment Terms

The final balance for wedding bookings is due at least one week before the day at the latest unless otherwise agreed.

For lessons and occasion make up bookings, the remaining balance can be paid on the day of the service.

Client Responsibility

All clients must inform me of any issues that may affect the use of my products or equipment.

This includes, but is not limited to: contagious illnesses, sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions.

I reserve the right to refuse any makeup application if I have any concerns.

Bride Consultation / Trial

The bride trial is not compulsory but is strongly recommended. The cost of any trial is in addition to the wedding day makeup and can be paid on the day of the trial. Trials are booked in only after you have secured your wedding day with the booking fee.

All trials are carried out at my home in Folkestone, Kent on weekdays during daytime hours.

I am unable to carry out trials on Sundays, Bank Holidays or evenings. During wedding season, Saturday trial dates are also unlikely to be available. Please consider this before choosing to go ahead with your booking.

Changes / Cancellations

Cancellations made with less than 12 weeks' notice (from the wedding date) will require 50% of the remaining balance to be paid.

Cancellations made with less than 4 weeks' notice will require 100% of the remaining balance to be paid.

All cancellations must be received in writing. You will not be refunded for any trials that have already taken place.

In the unlikely event I am unable to attend on the wedding day (due to weather conditions, an accident, travel delay, family bereavement), I will endeavor to find a replacement artist. Where possible they will receive photos and a copy of the notes from the consultation and trial.

If, in the unlikely event of a full cancellation by me, you will be fully refunded. Please be confident that I have 100% attendance rate and it is not in my nature to let any client down.

In the event of your wedding being postponed and re-scheduled, all reasonable attempts will be made by me to accommodate the new date.

I will always try to fulfill adjustments to bridal party numbers. If there is an increase in numbers, this may mean I need to bring an assistant artist which will incur an additional cost.

If any of your bridal party drop out or you reduce bridal party numbers less than 14 days' before the wedding, you will still be required to pay the full amount originally quoted / invoiced.

Travel

I cover a complimentary 20 miles from my home free of charge; after that a return journey is charged at 50p per mile, based on postal codes using a route planner.

Parking and toll expenses will be charged to the client.

Behaviours

Should any client or member of your party become abusive, threatening or offensive, I reserve the right to terminate my services immediately without any refund.

I am not liable for any suppliers that I work with or recommend.

I have public liability insurance and am insured with Salon Direct.

Additional Important Information

On the wedding day, please ensure I have a suitable working environment with adequate natural lighting (near a window is ideal) and a clear space to set my kit up.

Clients should be ready on time and make up free. If contact lenses are worn they should be applied prior to the make up application.

Make up application takes approximately 45 minutes to one hour depending on requirements.

Clients should be prepared to sit quietly during the application process; it is helpful if they do not use their phone, keep turning round or getting up from the chair etc.

If there are likely to be young children present on the day, please can you ensure they do not tamper with my brushes, kit or products.

Smoking, vaping or drug use is not permitted during the make up application.

I reserve the right to make a claim to cover costs for any damage to my brushes, kit or products which may have been caused by you or your party.

Photography and Images

I am sure you can appreciate the importance of maintaining and updating my portfolio, both on my website and social media platforms.

Please let me know if you do not wish to be photographed.

Additionally, I am happy to be photographed on your wedding day but politely ask that any images of me in action or clearly showing my finished work makes reference or credits me as the make up artist.
