(Last updated 15th June 2023))

* Please note *

BY PAYING A BOOKING FEE YOU ARE CONFIRMING THAT YOU AGREE TO ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS LISTED BELOW.

PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU READ THEM CAREFULLY.

Current update regarding COVID-19:

Although national Covid restrictions have been lifted and self isolation is no longer imposed; I do still ask that you please inform me if you are experiencing Covid symptoms or have tested positive.

Securing my services

A non refundable booking fee of £30.00 is required to secure your wedding date.  This is deducted from your final wedding day balance.

Your booking is not secure until a fee has been paid and, due to high demand, wedding dates cannot be held until payment is received.

For all occasion or evening makeup bookings, a fee of £10.00 is required.

All booking fees are non-refundable.

Payment

Payments can be made by bank transfer or cash.

Unfortunately I am not able to accept cheques or card payments.

The final balance for wedding bookings is due at least one week before the day unless cash payment on the day has been agreed.

For non wedding bookings, payment can be made on the day of the service.

Client Responsibility

All clients must inform me of any issues that may affect the use of my products or equipment.

This includes, but is not limited to: contagious illnesses, sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions.

I reserve the right to refuse any makeup application if I have any concerns.

Wedding Trials

All wedding trials are carried out at my home in Folkestone, Kent on weekdays only (Monday to Friday) during daytime hours.

Regrettably, I am unable to carry out trials on Sundays, Bank Holidays or evenings.  During wedding season, Saturday trial dates are also unlikely to be available but I will endeavour to work with you to arrange a suitably convenient appointment where possible.

It is vital that all clients are happy at the conclusion of the trial, however if you or one of your party decide afterwards that something wasn't quite right or you wish to make changes to the makeup look, just pop me a message to let me know.

Cancellations

Cancellations made between 12 and 4 weeks prior to the wedding will require 50% of the outstanding balance.  Your booking fee will also be retained.

Cancellations made within 4 weeks will require 100% of the outstanding balance.  Your booking fee will also be retained.

You will not be refunded for any trials that have already taken place.

All cancellations must be received in writing.

Extenuating circumstances may be considered at my discretion.

Should payment not be received in full when required, I retain the right to cancel my services but you will still be liable to settle any remaining balance.

If I am unable to honour your booking, I will attempt to find an alternative makeup artist of a similar standard to take my place.

Where possible, they will receive a description of the look, photos and any products they may not have in their professional kit to enable them to recreate your chosen look.

In the unlikely event of a full cancellation by me, 100% of the costs already paid will be refunded.

Please be confident that I have an excellent attendance rate and it is not in my nature to let any client down.

Client numbers

I will always try to accommodate adjustments to the bridal party numbers (time allowing), however you should be aware that if any of the bridal party drop out or you decrease the number of people for your booking less than 14 days prior to the wedding date, you will still be required to pay the full amount originally quoted.

Travel

I cover a complimentary 20 miles from my home free of charge; after that a return journey is charged at 45 pence per mile and based on postal codes using a route planner.

Parking and toll expenses will be charged to the client.

Behaviours

Should any client or member of your party become abusive, threatening or offensive, I reserve the right to terminate my services immediately without any refund.

I am not liable for any suppliers that I work with or recommend.

I have public liability insurance and am insured with Salon Direct.

Additional Important Information

On the wedding day, please ensure I have a suitable working environment with adequate natural lighting (near a window is ideal) and a clear space to set my kit up.  Please ensure a chair is available.

Clients should be ready on time and make up free. If contact lenses are worn they should be applied prior to the make up application.

Make up application takes approximately 45 minutes to one hour depending on requirements.

Clients should be prepared to sit quietly during the application process; it is helpful if they do not use their phone, keep turning round or getting up from the chair etc.

If there are likely to be young children present on the day, please can you ensure they do not tamper with my brushes, kit or products.

Smoking is not permitted during the make up application.

I reserve the right to make a claim to cover costs for any damage to my brushes, kit or products which may have been caused by you or your party.

If necessary, I will provide further information in line with current COVID-19 Government guidance prior to your booking.

Photography and Images

I am sure you can appreciate the importance of maintaining and updating my portfolio, both on my website and social media platforms.

Please let me know if you do not wish to be photographed.

Additionally, I am happy to be photographed on your wedding day but politely ask that any images of me in action or clearly showing my finished work makes reference or credits me as the make up artist.
